What Makes A Professional IT Support Company?

The business where I work recently had a number of problems with our computer systems. I am by no way an expert in this sort of thing however I was asked to source a professional IT support service. Now having a rather limited amount of knowledge in this field made this a far from easy task which leads me to the whole purpose of this article; what makes a professional IT support London services company?

One thing that I really do not like from this London computer support industry is the non-refundable call out charge. I can fully understand as to why a person or company would want to charge this type of fee however for me I prefer to use the services of someone who only asks for payment once they have managed to fix the problem. Any company or again person who is unsure as to whether they can fix the issues obviously has a lack of confidence in their own ability. I was therefore only interested in enrolling a support service on a purely pay on solution basis.

There really is a wide range of differing costs quoted within this industry. I do not recommend that you necessarily go with the cheapest however some of the prices that I was quoted were quite unreasonable in my humble opinion. It is a case of doing a sufficient amount of sourcing which will provide you with a round about figure on what the task should cost.

There is something to be said for a high level of customer service. A person/business that does not have this most basic of qualities is not a company that I want to be having to deal with.

Then there is the time taken to come out and attempt to solve the issues. In our case we required immediate support where as some companies stated that they could not help for 2 weeks!
