You can unlock certain crops, get a new title, and purchase additional items with each level in Farmville. The following is a concise break down of how the game advances through the first few levels.

Field Hand
You start out with only 200 coins and a tiny farm space. You need to plow a 12×12 farm so that you can move on to the next level. You currently have no items unlocked and cannot gift anything.
Kinder Farmer
You can send plum trees and you unlock hay bales and plum trees. For you to reach the next level, you must get 20 XP.
Amateur Farmer
You can give fig trees and green hay bales and you unlock colored hay bales. You need to get 40 XP in order to move to the next level.
Able Farmer
You unlock squash seeds, crates, rest tent, chickens, and peach trees. You can now give peach trees. To reach the next level, you need to get 90 XP.
Handy Farmer
You unlock pumpkin seeds, white and brown stools, also gaining the ability to send avocado trees. To move to the next level, you need to get 200 XP.
If you focus on planting and harvesting rather than purchasing decorations for your farm, you will level quite rapidly in these early levels. You can always buy other things in the future. To find out which crops will offer you the best return for the time and coins and cash you currently have, refer to a growing chart (see Farmville Crops for help with that chart!).
Nimble Farmer
You can now gift horse topiary . You need to get 350 XP in order to reach the next level.
Savvy Farmer
Unlock rice seeds, butter churn, well, lemon trees and sheep. You can now send lemon trees and sheep. You’ve also have the ability to sell animals and trees. 550 XP til the next level.
Fancy Farmer
You can send apricot trees plus you unlock raspberry seeds, wood pile, and tool shed . You need to get 800 XP in order to go to the next level.
Sophisticated Farmer
You unlock cotton seeds, cow topiary, bike, plus wagon. However, you do not get any new gifts. 1300 XP til the next level.
Splendid Farmer
Unlock fruit stand, picnic table, wood fence, and lime tree. Now you can gift lime trees and pigs. In order for you to go to the next level, you should get 1800 XP.
At this point you should have built up a decent amount of coins. It’s not bad to use your coins on decorations but be sure that your bank account balance never falls below 10,000 coins. If whole crop withers by accident, this will allow you to replant.
Farming Magician
You unlock bell pepper seeds and stone mailbox, also gaining the ability to send grapefruit trees. 2300 XP til the next level.
Farming Wizard
You can send rabbits plus you unlock pepper seeds, tractors (red or pink), and wheelbarrow. To go to the next level, you need to get 2800 XP.
Jolly Rancher
Unlock the grain silo, pink fence, wood bench, and harvester. Now you can gift the goat topiary. Get 3300 XP to go to the next level.
Produce Professional
Unlock unlock aloe vera seeds, black/blue/green fence, and seeder. You can now send banana trees. At this point you’ve unlocked all the vehicles. 3900 XP til the next level.
Professor of Agriculture
You can gift ducks and you unlock pineapple seeds, covered wagon, and workshop. 4500 XP til the next level.
Congratulations! You’re well on your way to the highest level, Level 70. Always strategize sensibly, purchase beneficial tools and keep planting those crops.
