Many people start to play any type of instruments when they are young. Especially when you are really young and keen on music many parents encourage you to learn more and may be make a career out of it. Parents are always there to help you but it all depends on you whether you want to play or not. Whether it is learning pianos, grand pianos, digital pianos or guitars or any other musical instruments learn early because you get better with age and playing regularly.
I have been learning to play since I was 5 years old. Now at the age of 18 I am a professional piano player in many theatres in London and have played in several gigs for top musicians. I would suggest parents to take their kids for lessons from young age and for kids who are willing to play start when young don’t waste time. I would also suggest them to start playing with acoustic pianos as when you are perfect with acoustic you will be able to play all types of pianos and keyboards.
Famous musicians throughout the World have said they all started playing instruments from young age. For example, Eric Clapton, Shania Twain, Alicia Keys, Santana, Flash, Jon Bon Jovi, Phil Collins and many more. There is no doubt if you start playing from your childhood and keep playing it till your later teens then you will get better at playing by age.
There are people out there who are learning to play piano at the age of 20, 30 and 40 there is nothing wrong with that. If you are dedicated to music and play everyday then who knows you might be able to play some gigs in the future. You can always learn to play musical instrument no matter what age you are. Age doesn’t matter when it comes to music. All I am saying is learn to play musical instrument from young age.
