As we live through life we sometimes come across situations that requires some quotes for encouragement and coping. As much as there are fastastic moments in life there are also some dissapointing moments that we can not just overlook. If you are not sure about what to say on what occasion especially in terms of biblical encouragement then why not read below for some few insights.
The Loss of a loved one
Someone who has lost a loved one needs someone who can speak positively about the situation. They need to be around positive people and to hear positive words. Be weary of overdoing it. Find the right things to do and words to say.
Grieving people go through various phases of grief and you need to be sensitive to understand the grieving process and what words to say at each stage.
Someone new at work
It can get very unsettling to move in to a new job especially if it is not what you have done before. So if you know someone who is just starting a new job then you have a candidate to help out. If the friend enjoys a good laugh, it is a good idea to send him or her some Christian poems of encouragement – if you are trying to help out a religious friend- about starting a new job.
Someone in a new country
Being in a different country can be so frustrating especially if you can not understand the local language. One of the predominant feelings are anxiety and being home sick. I know someone who fell into a serious depression a few days after arriving in a new country – to stay for 12 months. This person spent two months seriously ill due to depression.
Other people who need to be encouraged from time to time include, married couples, someone who is sick and probably in hospital and people locked up in prison. So while you are going about basking in the fulfilment of your life, do take sometime to say something good to a person who needs it.
