Soderling v Nadal 2009
The final of French open champion is going to held this Sunday but who deserves the title more? Nadal has already won the French open 4 times previously and will be aiming for his fifth whereas this is Soderling’s second French open final. So who deserves to win it then go on luxury cruises trip on a holiday or rest after the French open?
Seems like Soderling loves French open and has already have a good tournament so far by beating the World number one in the quarters. He was beaten by the great Swiss in last year’s final in Roland Garros. Federer’s only French open title out of his many other grand slams. This was a great achievement for the Swiss but a terrible moment for the Swede but this year the Swede has bounded back to beat Roger in the quarters and also reaching the final. Will he win it or not we will know this Sunday but against the clay court specialist it doesn’t look good. But in sport anything is possible that is the beauty of the game.
People are saying Nadal hasn’t played his best tennis this year yet he has won two ATP tournaments and has reached French Open’s final. Not sure what they are looking at but to me he seems fit, strong and play some great tennis. And in the semi final he showed everyone what he is made of. He was outstanding to watch against Almagro. I just wonder after his long semi final match against Berdych does he have enough fuel to win the Final that also against Nadal, let’s hope so.
If Soderling does manage to come up with the victory it will definitely be one of the greatest achievement of his life and then I think he wil deserve to go on MSC cruises or Windstar cruises trip to the Caribbean may be to rest before another big one in London. He still deserves it even if he doesn’t win. Getting to the French Open final two years running in itself is a massive achievement but winning it will be something else.
