Time Wasting Tips

I know you’re still reading about how great cardio workouts are. You probably see it on television too. I just want to give you a friendly reminder that traditional cardio movements aren’t going to get you anywhere when it comes to weight loss. You can talk about your experiences in the weight loss forum.

The style of exercising called interval training is what you need to do to get the fat off of your body. It’s going to do more for you and in less time than cardio ever will give you. There was a report put out by a science group studying obese people that put a group of overweight people between the ages of forty and seventy five. This group performed cardio exercises every day for an hour, six times in a seven day period.

This study went on for a year. Can you imagine doing that much cardio? Talk about boring. I would find that a very difficult thing to do. With all that time and all that exercise, I bet you think these people finished up lean and mean, fit and trim, right?

Here’s why you shouldn’t do cardio: the women participants showed an average of a four pound weight loss over the year’s course. Huh? All that time and all that effort for a lousy four pounds?

OK, so the males lost a 6,5 ppound average weight. That amount is still unacceptable for the time they spent exercising. You’d think that these people would have lost way more than twenty or thirty pounds with all the time they’ve invested in exercise. Cardio won’t provide rapid weight loss.

In my opinion, four or six points is not worth 300 hours of exercise to accomplish.Exercising using traditional cardiovascular workouts will waste your time perfectly if that’s what catches your fancy.

The best way to go if you want to lose weight is by combining interval training and strengthening exercis as part of your workout regimen. You will look much better after you lose 20 pounds.
